Context
In the letter, lending is handing crypto-assets over for use against a payment (Rz. 26). It describes decentralised finance (Rz. 20a) but does not say whether a deposit into a lending contract is such a handing-over or an exchange, nor when income growing inside the contract counts as arrived. That remains a question for the tax firm.
